QUADEP magnetic chucks are for all machining operations on milling machines and machining centres.They are easily installed on any type of machine, they don't overheat and being insensitive to any possible electrical break-down, they are intrinsically safe.
The "electro-permanent" patented technology used requires the electrical feeding only for few seconds to energize and de-energize the magnetic field, then the connection can be removed while the chuck will keep the work piece safely clamped.
The work piece is totally free for the full machining on 5 faces in a single set-up.

EP Radial pole Magnetic Chucks provide the fastest and most efficient way to clamp circular and ring type components without distortion.
The structure is from complete monoblock design providing the most stable and rigid construction for highly accurate as well as heavy machining cycles.
Because our systems are Electro-permanent it is possible to magnetise the chuck and then unplug the supply cord to allow the machine table to rotate for machining. This allows the operator to remove the magnet for other applications or to install on other machines.
For permanent set up we can supply the cable exit from the back of the chuck which can connect through the machine spindle via slip ring assembly.
